A story club for people who love stories - wherever they find them.

Stories have a way of staying with us. Sometimes it’s a character, sometimes a moment, sometimes an opinion we can’t

quite let go of.

Off the Page is a space to bring those stories into the room.

Each session starts with a theme and leaves the rest open. Books are at the heart of it, but stories can come from films,

shows, history, myths, family memories, or anywhere else you’ve found one worth talking about.

No assigned reading. No right answers. Just stories, opinions, and the people behind them.

The page is only where the story begins.

THIS PICNIC'S THEME

THIS PICNIC IS ABOUT THE TIMES YOU QUIETLY PICKED THE OTHER ONE.

Come with any one of these:

THE VILLAIN YOU ROOTED FOR

The one whose logic made uncomfortable sense - or who was simply better company than everyone else in the story.

THE HERO YOU COULDN'T STAND

The protagonist you endured rather than enjoyed.

THE SIDE CHARACTER WITH ALL THE MAIN CHARACTER ENERGY

The one the story should have been about.

Your story can come from a book, film, series, myth, historical account, or something your family still argues about.

No reading list. No homework.

Just one opinion you're willing to defend out loud.
